At 8 am check-in at the starting point of the route and meeting with a guide who will lead the group to the gorillas. The road passes through a dense forest, through which sometimes you have to literally wade through thick vines in search of traces of gorillas. The search can take anywhere from one to five hours, so be prepared for a good amount of exercise. Choose comfortable shoes with good tread for this in advance.
The result of all efforts will be an unforgettable meeting with gorillas. Being close to them, you will observe the behavior of these amazing creatures, listen to how they communicate with each other, and of course marvel at the huge size of the dominant male, which can be recognized by the silvery hair on his back.
